Patient, supportive, and structured lessons tailored for students with ADHD, autism, and diverse learning profiles to help them thrive at their own pace.
I know what it's like to be a mentee, so as a mentor, I set out to tick all the boxes:
I focus on measurable progress and building genuine confidence - most students end up playing their first song within a few lessons.
Motivation comes from autonomy. Students choose the direction, and I provide the roadmap and professional technique to get them there.
A productive alternative to iPad time that supports mental and social development.
With over a year of teaching experience at multiple academies, I've taught from ages 5-52 with varying abilities, personalities and learning styles.
Specialist drum tutor, Studio Director
Hi, I'm Gabriel, a 20 year old Bachelor of Psychology student at Curtin University who runs private drum lessons from my home in Success.
I started playing in year 3 at Mater Christi Primary School, where drumming became a vehicle for me to immerse myself in music and experience a passion for a discipline at a young age like nothing else.
During high school, I won several scholarships and awards for solo and band performances at Emmanuel Catholic College, even playing gigs outside of school for venues in Fremantle and the Royal Show.
And so after high school, I left my supermarket job to pursue personal and professional development which eventually led to sharing my passion with the next generation of musicians!
Since 2025, I've opened up slots for private lessons and I now pride myself on the connections I make with students on top of making sure they experience an enjoyable, comprehensive mentoring program that will support them throughout their musical journey. Whether it stays a hobby or becomes a potential career!
Outside of drumming, I am a Portuguese interpreter, St John volunteer and NDIS support worker. I love cinematography and visual art as well as going to the gym, cooking and video games.
Located in the heart of Success, I'm just a 2-minute walk from Jandakot Primary. With several schools within a 15-minute drive, you could have your lessons right after school!
THE STUDIO
Professional-grade equipment in a comfortable, dedicated studio space, just minutes from local schools in Success.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
While you wait for your lesson, there's plenty to keep the whole family entertained. There's a basketball hoop right outside and a nearby park.
Shoot some hoops right outside while you wait for lessons!
Just down the street is a big park where siblings and parents can hang around after school during lessons. Take a 360° look around!
Bob is a friendly neighbourhood cat who sometimes crosses the road to greet students as they come in for lessons.
He might just greet you at the door before you come in, see if you can spot him!
How being an interpreter, psychology student, NDIS support worker and St John volunteer makes me a better teacher.
Being an interpreter, psychology student, NDIS
support worker and St John volunteer gives me a unique perspective when working with kids and adults
from diverse backgrounds and abilities that sets me apart from other teachers.
Not only do I
include curriculum material and teaching methods that other tutors may not consider...
I've found
that being able to be extremely dynamic, receptive, patient and creative with everyone has made me quite
skilled at responding to individualised interactions.
This ability is what I believe makes me an
extremely articulate and effective teacher.
So regardless if you're 5 or 50, or have differing
abilities, I'm sure we can find a way to make your drumming dreams come true!
